Masters In Instructional Technology

The Masters in Instructional Technology is a 30-CH accelerated program designed to prepare persons in K-12, higher education, corporate, and military settings to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for the classrooms and boardrooms of tomorrow.

Program Learning Outcomes

The program focuses on the theory, research and applications related to the field of educational technology and are intended to help individuals to:

• Demonstrate the knowledge necessary to create, use, assess, and manage theoretical and practical applications of educational technologies and processes.

• Develop as reflective practitioners able to demonstrate effective implementation of educational technologies and processes based on contemporary content and pedagogy (AECT Standard 2).

• Facilitate learning by creating, using, evaluating, and managing effective learning environments. 

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate technology-rich learning environments within a supportive community of practice. 

• Explore, evaluate, synthesize, and apply methods of inquiry to enhance learning and improve performance (AECT Standard 5).
